A Week at Grandma and Grandpa Bass'

Last week Connor and I stayed down at my Mom and Dad's while Mark went to Dallas, Texas for work. He went home on Sunday night and flew out Tuesday morning to Dallas. He flew back into Minneapolis on Friday morning and then came back to Okabena to pick us up and for the weekend. During the week, my Mom and I took Connor to JCPenney's to have his 6 month picture taken. We did get a nice one of him smiling, although that is the day he started feeling sick. I think he started getting his second bottom front tooth last Thursday. He ran a fever for a few days and just wasn't himself. Tired, sleepy, only drinking his milk and wanting nothing to do with food, crying and whiny (Ick!), not talking and smiling like he usually does and clinging to Mom...alot! He still is not normal yet today. His fever is gone, but he still is tired and not his smily, talkative self. I can see the white of his new tooth on his gums, so I hope this stage is on it's way out.

Mark catching up on some sleep after returning back from his trip to Dallas. Bouz found a comfy spot behind his knees.

Connor taking a bath in Grandma's kitchen sink. No smiles. Poor kid. Darn those teeth that have to hurt and cause problems.

Nice photos Connor! What a cute boy! I hope your new tooth is finally all the way in so you feel better. Then you can talk to your Mom and tell her some good stories!

Hopefully you will feel great soon so you can come to Izzabelle's birthday party in 3 days. The party will be so much fun!

Amy! I just knew posts from Okabena 4th of July would be on your blog! We were just in Okabena (to mow dad's lawn hopefully one LAST time!)and the kids LOVED the new stuff at the park--they fixed it up pretty nice!

Hope Connor feels better soon! Those bugger teeth...and it never happens "at home" either! :) Cute pictures--he looks like a happy boy!

Later!
