Connor & Izzabelle

Before Thanksgiving, we were down to my parents house for the weekend. Izzabelle, my sister Bon's daughter, was also there. Since Thanksgiving was the following week, Izzabelle decided that she wanted to come stay at Connor's house. Which she did. They played and played. For only being two years old, she did very well. She talked on the phone to her Mom daily and slept on the floor in Connor's room. They both slept well in the same room. We played in the house and outside, rode Connor's gator, and I took them to Vining to the park and to the statue park in town. They both had lots of fun and played pretty well together.

Combining corn

Even with the crappy harvesting weather, Connor was still able to go for a few rounds in the combine with Grandpa Bass. He liked watching the combine eat up the corn and then shoot out into the wagon. He wasn't too excited about driving the big rig though.

Mark's birthday, church steeple, and others

Playing catch up again.

Happy Birthday Mark! Mark's birthday was November 14th. We had ice cream cake at his Dad's house a week earlier and another cake that Connor and I decorated with M&M's on his birthday.

Our little country church recently got a new steel roof. After inspection of the steeple, it was decided that something new had to be put back up on the roof. Mark designed a cross and his work donated the materials and time of making it. Here it is in our living room. It stands about 5 1/2 feet tall or so and made of stainless steel. It has since been put back up on the roof of the church, but I have no pictures. Nice job, Mark!
