He's on the Move!

Finally! Yesterday was the day that Connor finally crawled! He's been getting pretty close lately, and this morning while we were at school he just got up on his knees and away he went. We were starting to think he was just gonna skip the whole crawling thing and go right to walking.

Carving Pumpkins

Last night Mark carved out a pumpkin while I was giving Connor a bath. His work has a contest so he decided to try out his pumpkin carving technique. I'd say his "howling wolf" turned out pretty good. The pumpkin is one from our garden.

A Good Saturday for Duck Hunting

Mark was out duck hunting Saturday morning before the rest of us went to town. He was pretty successful once again at bringing home food for the family.

Someday he'll be able to go hunting with Dad. Mark with Ace and Connor Mark and Ace

The Great Pumpkin came early

This past weekend my sister, Crystal, and her husband, Brent, came and visited for the weekend. We spent Saturday in town bumming. I learned one thing for sure...do not let those two loose in the toyland at Fleet Farm! They could've filled up Santa's sleigh! Connor lucked out too as the Great Pumpkin came early for him and also for being such a good boy while we shopped all day that he got a new loader! Auntie Crystal playing with Connor and his new loader Uncle Brent reading Connor "The Foot Book" by Dr. Suess. One of his favorites.

Connor turns 10 months old

Connor is now 10 months old today. There was no birthday cake or anything, but I did sing Happy Birthday to him a couple times today. We did go to school (ECFE) this morning so that was his birthday fun for today. I weighed him on the scale and he weighs 20.5 lbs. Connor and Mark The other day I pushed him around the couch a few times in the diaper box. He thought it was great fun!

Driving tractor with Grandma

One of the tractors was parked in the yard, so Grandma and I took Connor out to "drive" it.

Connor had a short ride with Dad while he was hauling loads of corn.

Combining Corn

My Dad and Uncle Verl were out combining corn this past weekend while we were there. Connor and I went for a ride with my Uncle, Verl as he was combining corn.

My Dad's birthday

Saturday was my Dad's birthday, and my Uncle Verl's (my Dad's twin brother) as well. We took pictures before we went to the local establishment for supper and cocktails.

I have more pictures to add from the birthday party at the Blue Barn, but have way too many so will have to put those on a slideshow tomorrow. Time for me to hit the hay.

Driving race cars at the mall

This past weekend we were down to my parent's house. On Saturday, we went to the mall. We had to let Izzabelle and Connor drive the sports car. Connor loves to "drive". He had fun.

Big Green Eyes

Check out those big green eyes.

Megan

This past Sunday night we stayed overnight at Mark's brother, Dave's, house on our way home from baptism at Bon's. Here are a couple pictures of Connor playing with his cousin, Megan. He and Megan were playing with a whole tote full of plastic plates, food, silverware, etc. He loves to play with bowls and lids. Real oreo or fake? He sure was chewing on it like it was real. Megan reading Connor one of his favorite books, "Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You?

Pumpkin Pictures

Tonight, our neighbors came and took a couple bales out of our hayshed. This opened up the bales for a perfect picture spot for Connor and his pumpkins.

Fall Stroller Ride

Today after the sun finally came out again, Connor and I took our daily stroll down to the mailbox. I brought along my camera and took some pictures of all the fall colors.

Here is the view behind the house. Connor is watching our dogs, Ace and Jake, jump in the kennel as they wait to get out and go for a walk.

Here is the view looking down the driveway in front of the house.
