Connor's First Parade

Last night we went to the parade in Wadena. We met Myron and Shirley (Mark's parents) and his sister, Cheryl, and her two kids, Kari and John there. Connor did pretty well. I wasn't sure how he was going to take the noisy motorcycles, the sirens, and even the marching bands but he sat and watched from his chair until nearly the end of the parade when he saw Mom eating a freeze pop. Then he wanted out. I tied him in with a dishtowel. We didn't need any "first parade" remembrances of him falling out of his chair.

After the parade, we went out to the farm. Grandpa Wicklund's cows were actually up near the gate, so Connor and Mark fed the cows.
