At Grandpa and Grandma's Farm

A few more pictures of our days at Grandpa and Grandma's house:

Checking out Grandpa's chickens

Posing for a picture with Goldie

Grandpa gave Connor a tractor ride while I packed the car to come home. He was supposed to keep him awake so he would sleep all the way home, but the hum of the tractor eventually put him to sleep.

Mel's Birthday

My sister, Mel's, birthday was this past Tuesday, Sept. 16th. We had birthday cake on Saturday. Connor got in the birthday picture with her. In the one picture he is really eyeing that chocolate cake.

Turkey Day 10K

I'm a little behind on my blog. Connor and I have been down to Okabena to my parent's house for a bit while Mark was in California for work. We are all back home again. Last Saturday was Turkey Day in Worthington. My sister, Mel, and my cousin, Stacy, ran in the 10K race. First time race for Mel. We all went and cheered them on. There were between 500 and 600 runners. It was a little cool and then it started to rain. They both finished the race and were soaking wet. Here are some pictures:

Nothing Better than an Underdog

Connor loves to go outside and swing...no matter what the weather is doing. The kid loves underdogs. He'd swing for hours if he could. These pictures are from yesterday, but this morning he was out there in his pajamas with his hat on (he doesn't care for the velcro chin strap just yet). It was cold and windy but he did swing for a few minutes, and then Mom had enough. He cried when I undid his seatbelt buckle. I don't know what we'll do when it does get cold out. Will probably end up hanging his swing down in the basement.

Checking on the Pumpkins

We checked out our pumpkin patch in the garden yesterday. Actually it's just one plant that is doing really well.
Don't eat the dirt!!

We "scored" his name into one of them a few weeks ago.
